Drinking age at 18?

I do think the drinking age should be lowered to 18. After all, people that age are legally adults and they should be able to enjoy all the privileges available to adults. I also believe that binge drinking in colleges and young people going to Mexico to get drunk have gotten worse since the drinking age was raised in all states. When I turned 18 over 30 years ago, most states still had a legal drinking age of 18. While drinking occurred among college students, I don't remember it being near the problem it is today. Basically, I see it as being an example of "forbidden fruit". The fact that most college students are too young to drink legally makes binge drinking that much more attractive to many of them.
