Why does cursor keep disappearing on firefox windows &really slow everytime i type takes words an hour to show?

its ssoooooooooooooooo slow and the cursor completely disappears and i have to keep mclicking it and waiting for about an hour for it to reappear ...and when i type i am waiting for about an hour for it to appear..what is wrong with it
