Congress, it worked to start a war. Will it work to kill clean energy?

That is a typical political behaviour of the republican party and of the oil lobby. They have clearly shown to not refrain from any lie or even crime in order to preserve their dirty business, but still too many people are prone to be scared by the GOP lies.
