Standing wraps rubbing...?

The veterinary studies that have been done have shown that standing wraps do very little to support the suspensories anyway, so I would remove the wraps to heal the rubs, but discuss it with your vet first. You can cold hose the suspensories to help to reduce pain. The rubs can be gently cleansed with 0.9% sterile normal saline and an ointment like Gordon's EMT or Hydrogel by Farnam can be applied. Vetericyn is also a good product. I'm a big fan of EMT, and it is available at tractor and farm supply stores or online. These sores can become infected, so that risk should be weighed against the benefit of using the standing wraps.

fondant will harden regardless ,it is like a crust ,I rather have frosting it's not as sweet ,fondant is nice for looks but I find it too sweet and tasteless, if you make it add a bit of vanilla to it to give it a bit of taste, not only it is expensive, and some people usually remove it from the cake and in my opinion it is a waste of money. .

Pay Day Loan, what can the police do?

Last year when I was really struggling to pay my outgoings and my car had problems I had to take out Pay Day loan from a local shop. I payed it off and took 2 more loans out paying both of them off too. I then took a final loan of �300, at the same time I had to move because I couldn't afford where I was living. I pretty much forgot about the loan and subsequently failed to pay it back. I haven't heard anything since but today had a visit from 2 POLICE officers! Claiming an allegation had been made regarding the loan. I have to go to the police station in a weeks time to be interviewed under caution. Is this normal for a loan? I have never heard of the police being called regarding an unpaid loan. I'm concerned also that the Loan shop may have contacts within the police. Does any one have any suggestions regarding this situation. I am now debt free bar this loan and could clear the loan if absolutely necessary, but am unsure if doing this would affect the case in any way.

Now 3 yrs later she has started back up again even worse now and out of nowhere is accusing my husband ually abusing or actually teaching her obscene things, says he taught her how 2 say c0ck ( sorry ) and how 2 hump things. So now cps is calling. This is completely untrue as "I" was actually the one that took care of his daughter last time she came bc he had worked over night and couldnt stay up and play with her. I have all her dirty texts even from 3 yrs ago and her pictures and would like 2 know if I can used those as evidence that she is the 1 who is teaching their daughter these things and that she unfit and I would also like 2 do whatever I can for slander as well. Why is my dog nudging at his side?

He's been pretty sick starting Thursday, he vomited off and on all day long, and stopped eating. Friday he wouldn't do much of anything and actually vomited a piece of plastic with burned edges (he likes to dig around in our trash burning area), then Saturday was okay. Sunday he was back to it again with a little blood in his stool, so we took him to a vet where he started vomiting some blood. The vet ran an endoscope into his stomach which turned up nothing but inflamed, red stomach lining (likely the cause of the bloody vomit), so he went ahead and performed X-rays, which also showed nothing. He stayed overnight, and ate, drank, and acted fine all day today (per the Vet), so he came home. Now he is acting somewhat normal, but he is groaning a little more than usual, and is nudging at his side. I may just be overreacting, but I'm concerned as he has a history of dietary indiscretion and has had foreign body obstructions in the past. Have you ever had a dog with bloody vomit/stool, and if so, what could be the cause? He has had pancreatitis in the past, so I know this is not it - witholding food for several hours didn't help.

I do think the drinking age should be lowered to 18. After all, people that age are legally adults and they should be able to enjoy all the privileges available to adults. I also believe that binge drinking in colleges and young people going to Mexico to get drunk have gotten worse since the drinking age was raised in all states. When I turned 18 over 30 years ago, most states still had a legal drinking age of 18. While drinking occurred among college students, I don't remember it being near the problem it is today. My boiler won't work properly?

I have a Worcester Greenstar CDI combi boiler which is around 5 years old. This week it has started playing up. it keeps going off and won't fire back up, display has EA on it. Our usual fix in the cold weather was to pour a kettle of hot water on the outlet pipe outside, however this did not work this time, i found a post on a website that suggested removing the white flexi pipe from the underside of the boiler to drain it. I did this and got approx 2 pints of water out of it, reset the boiler and it worked fine. but, it goes off again every half an hour or so and i have to repeat the draining process. can anyone help me?

Lately the few episodes or feelings that I have been here before, have been upsetting because they leave this empty and scary feeling like the outcome is bad...when I say I experience them I mean weekly basis and sometimes 2-3x a day, the most I have lasted without experiencing one is like 3 weeks. Need some enlightenment.

I feel im being bullied and its making me really miserable. what can I do?

I moved to the United States from France because of my Dads work two months ago, and aside from a two weeks at the beginning, my time here has been miserable. A group of girls have been making my time at school terrible for no reason except me being French. I was fine at the beginning, but then things changed. 2 boys had asked me out in the second week of school; I’d said I was just getting settled but doing something as friends would be nice. This seemed to set this group of girls off on me; they started making comments about me being ‘easy’ but I was just asked, that was it. Every time I speak they mock my accent, I hate speaking out in cl because I can always hear their laughing. If I’m walking in the corridor, they’ll kick my heel to try to trip me up. I’ve always liked fashion, but I never wear anything now except plain clothes and I never wear dresses anymore, because they always take my clothes as an excuse to mock something. I feel miserable. I’ve met some nice people here, but these girls are making it impossible for me to enjoy anything. I’m afraid to tell a teacher because I think they won’t do anything because I’m foreign. I know that sounds stupid, but I just feel like that. I know this seems like a bit of a rant, but I just wanted to get it out. has anyone been in a situation like this? how can i deal with this and stop it happening? thanks for any advise

I don't think it's because I'm not academically up to it since my PSAT scores were pretty good, but it's just that I don't really know how to motivate myself to do good in school, I guess. I also don't have practice. I go to a private prep school where people take AP's for freshman year and do well in it too. I don't want to be average or BELOW average, because what good is it to go to a private prep school if you're not going to be one of the above average students? Ache and pain in my back, due to MS?

I started walking about two weeks ago and ever since then I have had a really bad ache all over my back and a very sore neck it is very painfull. I have multiple sclerosis and have noticed that while walking my right leg gets very weak and I start to limp (the weak leg is due to a very bad attack I had). I don't think it is justifiable. This is just abuse. The problem is that the one who is being abused has to decide when to make a stand. It may end up ending the relationship. People who are abused end up buying what the abuser says about them. They feel very insecure and don't think they can make it on their own and other people will see them as being to blame for what happened. Some people see through this behavior sooner than others and get out. Others go through a whole lot and may never leave. Be as supportive of your mom as you can. Sleeping problems, help?

I am not really sure what to do. I am 18 and I am at college, I have alot of time off because I am not able to sleep longer than a hour a night, sometimes I will go to bed at 10pm and still be wide awake at 5am, I have early starts for college to. I have tried drinking hot milk, changing my sleeping time, changing my quilt and pillows, I have tried herbal remedies such as calms and RSI. I am currently doing a a level course at college, If i take any more time off because of my sleeping I will not be allowed back next year and I will probably fail my course due to lack of cocentration. I also drive and I am unable to drive like this. I dont really fancy sleeping pills to be honest, I have heard alot of bad stuff about them. I am going to the docters tomorrow but is it worth going if I dont want to be on sleeping pills? Like is there anything else they can give me? Please help really unsure weather I should go or not. I really cant take much more of it, its putting me down and making me really upset.

Pebbles was affected more on the fights, her ear was all split and she had a scab on her back, she still does now, they are both separated now, but when they look at each other, they look like magnets repelling, the Pebbles starts squeaking like mad and falls back and darts back when you want to pick her up to comfort her.

My little bro gets really bad Nightmares?

Hi my little brother is 13 years old and he frequently wakes me up at night screaming across the hall waking up from his dreams. He always says "I can do this i can do this wait wait I can do this", or "no holly holly help help" (my name is holly). He always says stuff like this. Can I go blind from playing Video Games?

you probably wont go blind unless you put your face right against the tv. I used to play world of warcraft alot and i still do. I would play from dusk till dawn, even during my college cles sometimes. And it has taken its toll. i need gles now and it does mess up your eyesight. I recomend u learn to play from farther back or on a larger screen. because on a larger screen you dont have to strain your eyes and squint to see whats happening. like i said it probably wont blind you, but it will mess your eyesight up.

Puppy pees on the ground for attention?

ok so i have a 3 and a half month old golden retriever puppy and i've taught him a lot of tricks and his housebreaking has been going great. there's just been one thing that i can't figure out. i take him out every hour or every hour and a half and so and he obeys me completely peeing outside. the problem is, every time i leave him alone for a while in a room where he can't chew stuff up for like short periods of time, (like 5 mins to get his food) he whimpers and pees even when he peed like 20 mins ago. i usually come back to him when i see he pees to clean the mess up, so is it possible that he ociates peeing on the floor when im not around with me coming back? if so, how do i correct or react to this? if not, what else could be causing this? he doesnt do this always, just when he wants me to be around him. oh, and about him being alone in the room for like 5 mins, thats only for that amount of time he's alone, he's allowed anywhere else in the house after that under my supervision, it's just so he cant destroy anything while i'm getting his food. i spend most of my time with him and i'm gone very seldom. i also ignore his whimpering but dont know what to do. help?

Help with 8 month old sleeping?

My 8 month old daughter is having sleeping issues. She used to be able to lay down in bed with her pacifier and fall asleep. But lately she will go down for about an hour or so then spit out her pacifier and start crying. I will put the pacifier back in her mouth then a minute later she will spit it out and start crying, This will go off and on all night and the only way she will sleep is in my bed with me next to her. Pet rat has a lot of scabs all of a sudden?

My rat Sadie, has been scratching a lot lately.. I decided to give her a bath today, she usually gets a bath once a month, since she hates it so much. While bathing, I noticed a rash of scabs from her front leg shoulder all the way up to her chin. They are small and fresh. She doesn't have mites or fleas or anything... I keep her cage clean, she sleeps in a cloth hammock with soft baby blankets and I use the soft recycled paper bedding... so there isn't anything in her cage that could be itchy.. I don't know why she is digging so much and making herself bleed. Any suggestions?

Is obesiety genetic, or is that an excuse?

I understand that some genetic traits can cause a person to be obese, like thyroid problems, but is a large part of it diet? I can't imagine that somebody that eats low simple carbs, lots of fruits and veggies, and meats that are low in saturated fat could be obese. Then shouldn't people not have the right to blame their weight issues on genetics? Think about it, when was the last time you saw somebody in a 3rd world country that was obese? and in america, if your obese then, it might be your genetics?, so by coincidence the country with the worst eating habits in the world also has the highest rate of genetic obesity. That is a suspicious statistic.
